Two arrested during protest in front of Parliament
Skopje, 14 July 2022 (MIA) - Police arrested two people during today's protest in Skopje in front of Parliament, staged during the address by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
The men threw stones and other hard objects at the Parliament's building, the Interior Ministry confirmed to MIA.
Today's protest started at noon against the French proposal. At the moment, lawmakers are debating the Report over the content of the draft-negotiating framework for the accession negotiations of the Republic of North Macedonia with the European Union, proposed by the French Presidency on 30 June 2022.
