Our objective is to have satisfied citizens using government services in an easy, fast and efficient way, in parallel with countering corruption, preventing brain drain, but also having functional institutions, protected data and systems, as well as free and developed media sector," said Andonovski.

He announced that working groups would draft a National ICT Strategy and a National Cybersecurity Strategy, based on the existing documents but also through involvement of all stakeholders, including international partners, chambers, academia.

"The strategies will focus on digital connectivity, ICT infrastructure, digital skills, e-government, digitization of companies, ICT enablers and digital innovations," noted Andonovski.

"Youth and education will be in our focus, we will build a digital future and invest in training and education. We will promote high standards in technological development so that the country can again be positioned as the center of tech innovation and a regional IT industry leader," underlined Andonovski.
