Turkish Airlines launches Ohrid – Istanbul flights on March 27

Skopje, 11 December 2024 (MIA) - Turkish Airlines has scheduled and put on sale flights between Istanbul and Ohrid for the 2025 summer season. The carrier had previously applied for state subsidies to launch the service, according to the EX-YU Aviation website.
Flights will commence on March 27 and operate four times per week, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The airline connection between Ohrid and Istanbul is one of six new destinations announced following the latest government call for subsidies. Flights will also be available from Ohrid Airport to Mulhouse, and from Skopje Airport to Barcelona, Dubai, Lyon, and Stuttgart.
Under the criteria, the call offers airlines a subsidy of 9 euros per passenger at the Skopje International Airport and 12 euros per passenger at the Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport.
