Skopje, 28 March 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jovanka Trenchevska met Tuesday with Serbian Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy Nikola Selaković, focusing on digitization of social protection system.

Minister Selaković highlighted the significance of digitization for improved social protection that responds to citizens' needs, while expressing Serbia's interest to enhance cooperation with North Macedonia on the issue, primarily through the social affairs centers, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy said in a press release.

Minister Trenchevska referred to the functioning of small group homes and the de-institutionalization process across the country, as well as aspects for its improvement.

Interlocutors agreed to continue to share experiences for the purpose of ensuring equal opportunities for all and enhanced social protection, reads the press release.
