Skopje, 26 September 2025 (MIA) - Deputy PM and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski met Friday with Austrian Ambassador Martin Pammer, discussing the realization of capital projects, enhancement of infrastructure and the country's participation as an equal partner in the economic strengthening and stabilization of the region.

Minister Nikoloski and Ambassador Pammer opened the topic of Corridor X fast rail, benefits from the realization of this regional project and Austria's readiness to engage in it, the Ministry of Transport said in a press release.

Interlocutors also discussed the enhancement of cooperation in the sectors of traffic, air transport and fields of common interest for both countries.

Nikoloski and Pammer reaffirmed the excellent bilateral ties, with a focus on further development of economic ties through increase in trade exchange and regional cooperation, reads the press release.
