Skopje, 3 October 2025 (MIA) - Deputy Minister of European affairs Viktorija Trajkov attended Friday a regional seminar organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) in Skopje.
According to a press release by the Ministry of European Affairs, at the seminar Trajkov welcomed the participation of experts from all Western Balkan countries and noted that the experiences of the United Nations and the European Union in the area are especially valuable and useful.
"As countries whose future aligns with European perspectives, we know our obligations and the path we must build together and united. Ideas connect our people, making the region more integrated and stronger despite the challenges ahead. I firmly believe that the projects we are discussing today will shape our future tomorrow," Trajkov stressed.
The Deputy Minister said the opportunities within the Growth Plan will encourage plans that will shape the future of next generations, highlighting the need “to make use of the opportunities we have and make dreams a reality in the name of a brighter future for all of us”.
“We can accelerate the flow of goods in the region, we can strengthen our economies, and we can transform our challenges into opportunities, because we know how to do this,” Trajkov said.
The 7th UNECE seminar is a continuation of the first meeting held in December 2006 in Ohrid, which laid the foundations for the digitization of documents and procedures for the processing and exchange of data in international trade in the region of Southeastern Europe, the Ministry said.
