- All those who think crime is a profitable profession will soon be disappointed and put behind bars, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Friday.
Skopje, 23 August 2024 (MIA) - All those who think crime is a profitable profession will soon be disappointed and put behind bars, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Friday.
"We will fight and we will win and everyone should know this," PM Mickoski told reporters.
He added several groups are being monitored in Skopje and other cities across the country.
"We have identified three groups that, unfortunately, are logistically supported in some prisons. They operate with extortion, terrorism, racketeering, severe forms of crime, we know who they are and I expect that crime will very soon be unprofitable for them as well," said Mickoski.
The PM noted that the Government is committed to uproot crime from every segment of society, "be it on streets, in institutions, in power. Crime must be defeated and we will defeat it".
