Thaci: DPA win in Tetovo to change many things
Tetovo, 14 October 2021 (MIA) – The Democratic Party of Albanians (DPA) held a rally in Tetovo late on Thursday, promoting the mayor candidates in 14 municipalities across the country.
Sadi Bexheti, the party’s candidate for Tetovo mayor, said the city lacks drinking water, cleanliness, sees traffic chaos and no greenery.
“Today I am here to assure you that we can make Tetovo a city to be proud of, a city without divisions. The time is now to apply new energy, creativity and energy, to face the problems of every citizen,” said Bexheti.
DPA leader Menduh Thaci said many things would change after the party’s win in the city.
“We have gone through difficult times over the past five years. Opponents wanted to see DPA disappear. DUI has been in power for 20 years and our people are economically damaged. Eighty percent of the young people have gone abroad in all populated places I have visited. I believe better days lie ahead, I am certain professor Bexheti will win. The will comes from the people,” said Thaci.
