Taravari meets citizens in Skopje's Old Bazaar: Changes are visible

Skopje, 12 April 2024 (MIA) – As part of the election campaign, Worth It coalition presidential candidate Arben Taravari held meetings with citizens and visited several small businesses in Skopje's Old Bazaar on Friday.

"We, the Worth It coalition, i.e. the Albanian opposition, promise the people that investments will be made here, because I believe that Skopje's Old Bazaar has been left on the sidelines, and it deserves much more," said Taravari.

According to him, the election campaign so far has been correct. He pointed out that the Worth It coalition has been conducting a positive campaign and closely following the other presidential candidates.

The only red flag, Taravari noted, is the pressure on administration employees by their directors and managers, but, he added, changes in the ethnic Albanian bloc are visible.

"So far, the campaign has been correct, except for some pressure by directors and managers on employees in the administration who have been informing us of that daily. The changes are visible, and it is no longer a question of who will be the next government. I hope that this period will pass as soon as possible and on May 9, on Europe Day, we will have a new government with a new composition," Taravari said.

He said the atmosphere in the ethnic Albanian bloc was similar to that of 2016 in the Macedonian bloc.

"We started early, we've been in pre-campaign since February 3, and we are not tired, because people give us positive energy. Such positive energy reminds me of how things were in the Macedonian bloc in 2016, it is how things are now in the Albanian bloc. There is too much enthusiasm and euphoria," said Taravari.
