Skopje, 24 March 2025 (MIA) - Four of the patients from the Kochani nightclub fire, who are being treated abroad, remain in critical condition, while we expect eight to return to the country this week, said Health Minister Arben Taravari on Monday.

As he noted, 16 patients are expected to be discharged from hospitals today, where a total of 46 are currently being treated. Of these, 26 are treated at the Clinical Centre, 10 at the September 8 General Hospital, and 10 at the St. Naum City General Hospital. Eight patients are treated in private hospitals, while 115 are receiving treatment abroad.

“We are in a phase where infections are occurring, and complications are possible. The medical teams are giving their best effort. I hope that at least half of the patients will be able to return in two weeks,” Taravari said.
