Skopje, 2 May 2023 (MIA) - Secretariat for European Affairs State Secretary Drita Abdiu-Halili welcomed late Monday Sweden's Minister for European Union Affairs and Minister for Nordic Cooperation, Jessika Roswall, who is paying an official visit to North Macedonia.

On Tuesday, Minister Roswall is scheduled to meet with Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj, as well as President Stevo Pendarovski and Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani.

During the visit, Roswall will also meet with VMRO-DPMNE representatives.

Roswall's visit is taking place amid the Swedish EU Presidency, which is of enormous political importance for North Macedonia and the EU negotiations process, the Secretariat for European Affairs said in a press release.
