Sweden takes in two more patients injured in Kochani fire

Skopje, 21 March 2025 (MIA) - The Embassy of Sweden said in a Facebook post that a medical evacuation flight has carried two more patients injured in the fire in Kochani to the Karolinska University Hospital for medical treatment.
"Last night at 03.30, a medical evacuation flight by Karolinska University Hospital took off from Skopje, carrying two more patients to Stockholm for medical treatment. Sweden stands in solidarity with North Macedonia after the tragic fire this weekend. Our thoughts remain with everyone impacted," the Embassy of Sweden posted on Facebook.
Four patients injured in the fire in Kochani are currently receiving medical treatment in Sweden.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade has designated a contact person in each country where patients are receiving treatment, available 24/7 for any assistance and support. The contact details for Sweden are +46 701844605 and +46 768792019.
The deadly fire at the 'Pulse' nightclub in Kochani killed 59 people and injured 176 other.
