Strumica event to mark NATO's 75th anniversary

Skopje, 9 March 2024 (MIA) – The Ministry of Defense and the Army of North Macedonia, in cooperation with the Municipality of Strumica will host Saturday an open day for the citizens in order to mark NATO’s 75th anniversary.
“As part of the event, attendees will have a chance to hear a musical performance by the military orchestra, get acquainted with the army’s weaponry, military vehicles and equipment. Interested citizens will be able to learn about the technical specifications of the exhibited equipment and vehicles, including the new JLTV vehicles,” organizers said.
This is one of several events that will be held in seven cities in the country, as well as in Skopje, to mark the Alliance’s 75th anniversary and four years of North Macedonia’s membership in NATO.
Apart from the open days, a NATO forum will be held as well, during which the members of the Alliance will present their culture and traditions.
