Skopje, 5 April 2023 (MIA) ― Plamenka Trajkovska String Ensemble will perform a concert of movie music from the silent film era at Strumica's Anton Panov Culture Center at 7:30 pm. Titled "Silent Film at 4," the concert will include the first film score in history – "The Assassination of the Duke of Guise” (1908) soundtrack composed by Camille Saint-Saëns. 

Including Ljubica Boshkoska on viola and Aleksandra Janevska on cello, Plamenka Trajkovska String Ensemble will also perform music by Georges Bizet, Charlie Chaplin, Scott Joplin and Trajkovska herself. The performance will be accompanied by silent film clips.

Trajkovska is a trained violinist and a composer who has released a crossover album titled "Appassionato," a children’s music album "The Carnival of the Animals," and the single "Lightning Bugs." She has performed at many music festivals in North Macedonia and has toured France, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, and Tanzania. mr/
