Skopje, 7 April 2025 (MIA) — The Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts will host a book launch for a collection of works by Macedonian poet Kocho Racin in three volumes, which include his poetry, fiction, non-fiction as well as criticism and biographical information. At the same time, the Faculty of Philology will host a book launch for French novelist Marcel Proust's "Time Regained," the last volume of his "In Search of Lost Time."

Macedonian academicians Zhivko Popov and Katica Kjulavkova will speak about Racin's legacy. The editor of volume one, Venko Andonovski, the editor of volume two, Iskra Tasevska Hadzhi-Boshkova, and the editor of volume three, Vesna Mojsova Chepishevska, will speak about the volumes they edited.

Speaking about Marcel Proust's "Time Regained," which was translated into Macedonian by Gjorgje Marjanovikj, will be French language and literature scholars Irina Babamova and Elisaveta Popovska. The book launch is part of the Faculty of Philology's Francophonie Days. mr/
