Skopje, 12 August 2024 (MIA) - The State Attorney of the Republic of North Macedonia, Agron Reci, submitted Monday an irrevocable resignation from the post citing personal reasons.

In his resignation letter, Reci asked that the Government accept his resignation at the next session and reassign him as State Attorney in Ohrid – a post he held before being appointed State Attorney of the Republic of North Macedonia by the Government on April 18, 2023.

Elaborating on his decision, Reci said he is resigning due to personal reasons, mainly the fact his family does not live in the city where he works.
