Skopje, 8 November 2021 (MIA) – Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi has scheduled the session on the Government no-confidence vote for 11 a.m. on Thursday. A motion for a Government no-confidence vote has been submitted and filed. In compliance with Article 215, Paragraph 2 of the Parliament’s Rules of Procedures, Speaker Talat Xhaferi schedules the session on the third day from the motion’s submission, namely Thursday, 11 November, at 11 a.m., his Office said a in a press release. Earlier today, lawmakers of VMRO-DPMNE, Alliance of Albanians, Alternativa, Besa and Levica submitted the motion. Aleksandar Nikolovski of VMRO-DPMNE said 61 MPs have signed the initiative. The motion comes after VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said he would wait for Prime Minister Zoran Zaev to tender his resignation by 2.30 p.m. today, a move that never materialized.
