Skopje, 7 October 2025 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi met Tuesday with new Slovak Ambassador Iveta Hricová and wished her success in the post, while expressing satisfaction from the close bilateral ties and Slovakia's continued support to North Macedonia's EU accession process.

Ambassador Hricová said her efforts would focus on enhancement of bilateral cooperation and collaboration between the countries' parliaments, through joint activities and projects, the Parliament said in a press release.

Interlocutors agreed that parliamentary diplomacy represents a significant segment in the development of bilateral ties and voiced readiness for further strengthening of cooperation in the fields of culture, education and economy.
