Skopje, 11 June 2024 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi met Tuesday with the Ambassador of Kosovo, Florian Qehaja.

According to a press release from Parliament, at the meeting Gashi assessed the bilateral relations between North Macedonia and Kosovo are on a high level, with productive cooperation in several areas. He also noted that MPs from both countries are successfully cooperating and supporting each other on a multilateral level, within international parliamentary assemblies.

Congratulating Gashi on his election as Speaker of Parliament, Ambassador Qehaja wished the Speaker success in his work and voiced expectations for further enhancement of the successful cooperation between the two countries. He voiced satisfaction over North Macedonia’s affirmative position over Kosovo’s accession to all multilateral and regional organizations and initiatives.
