Skopje, 14 January 2025 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi met Tuesday with Greek Ambassador Sophia Philippidou and exchanged opinions on enhancement of bilateral parliamentary cooperation and other fields of mutual interest.

Ambassador Philippidou briefed Speaker Gashi on the procedure of electing a President in the country's parliament and expressed assurance that more dynamic cooperation would follow after the process' completion, the Parliament said in a press release.

Speaker Gashi voiced openness for mutual visits with Greek counterparts, which have continually expressed interest for specific cooperation, especially in the field of European integration, reads the press release.
