Skopje, 25 July 2025 (MIA) – After a two-day hospitalization at the Clinic for Digestive Surgery, the Speaker of Parliament, Afrim Gashi, was discharged Friday for home treatment. The Speaker’s Office said Gashi will continue to carry out his institutional activities in line with medical recommendations.

“Regarding concerns about the condition of the Speaker of Parliament, Afrim Gashi, we would like to inform the public that following a brief two-day stay at the University Clinic for Digestive Surgery and after undergoing all necessary medical examinations, the Speaker’s medical condition is good and stable. Today, Gashi was discharged from hospital and will continue his institutional activities in accordance with medical recommendations,” Gashi’s Office said in a press release.

The Speaker’s Office thanked the head of the Clinic and the medical staff for the professionalism, care and dedication demonstrated during the treatment.
