Skopje, 26 September 2023 (MIA) – Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday that together with his Slovenian counterpart, Boštjan Poklukar, they visited the Helicopter Unit at the Slovenian Ministry of Interior, where they had a chance to see a part of the equipment and the helicopters used by the Unit in their everyday work and activities.

“I express great respect and gratitude to the members of the Helicopter Unit which made a great contribution to the development of the aviation units of the Interior Ministry of North Macedonia, by providing the necessary training for aerial firefighting and carrying sling load - Helicopter Sling Load Operations HESLO 1 and Helicopter Firefighting HFF, which as a result of the longstanding cooperation with the police attaché at the Slovenian Embassy to North Macedonia, Branko Skrbinek, were successfully passed by all members of our helicopter unit,” wrote Spasovski.

Spasovski wrote that after the working visit to Ljubljana, they will resume the cooperation in medical flights and initial trainings for new pilots.
