Skopje, 15 July 2022 (MIA) – Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski has urged for responsible behavior and peaceful protest. “Dear citizens, if you want to express your democratic right to protest, I urge you to do this with dignity and peacefully. Police officers on duty are there to provide security for citizens and vital buildings, in order to avoid unwanted developments. I call for responsible behavior in this key moment for democracy. No attempts for violence, no tensions and no hate speech,” Minister Spasovski wrote in a Facebook post. I expect, he adds, maximum observance of law and order, in the spirit of the European values that we want to integrate in our society and which generate progress for all citizens.
