Skopje, 9 November 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski held Thursday a farewell meeting with UNHCR Representative Monica Sandri and thanked her for all achievements and expressed hope the successful cooperation will continue in the accomplishment of mutual goals.

Spasovski and Sandri said history is made in the promotion of human rights, with some of the results from the cooperation rarely seen in other countries, making North Macedonia a model in the region and Europe as well, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.

Sandri noted the good prospects over the country's EU accession and expressed hope this will happen very soon.

The UNHCR Representative said the excellent cooperation with the MoI and Minister Spasovski has also been acknowledged by the organization's head office, reads the press release.
