Skopje, 16 April 2023 (MIA) — Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski offered his best wishes on his behalf and on the behalf of the Ministry of Interior to all Orthodox Christians celebrating Easter.

"Today is a day of joy," Minister Spasovski wrote. "This day sends a message of peace, love, and forgiveness, just as Christ from the Cross forgave everyone who committed evil deeds and he created a new world."

To be a Christian, he added, means to be guided by love. 

"Because Christ is Love. May Christ's triumph — love — be indelibly imprinted into our hearts once again," Spasovski said, wishing for peace, health, and harmony in every home. mr/
