Skopje, 7 May 2023 (MIA) - It was with great honor and respect that I laid a wreath at the monument of the fallen Ministry of Interior members on occasion of May 7-Macedonian Police Day, said Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski on Sunday.

"This day is dedicated to the police officers in the Republic of North Macedonia, the heroes of our time. Regretfully, some of them gave the ultimate sacrifice - their lives - while fighting for the security of the citizens and the country. On this day, we remember them with infinite respect, serving as an inspiration for us all!. That is why we say it is an honor and responsibility to be a police officer and a member of the Ministry of Interior," Minister Spasovski wrote in a Facebook post.
