Spasovski: Crime in Ohrid, Struga down from last year

Skopje, 18 June 2023 (MIA) — The total crime in Ohrid over the past five months, compared to the same period in 2022, has dropped by 22 percent, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski said in a Facebook post.
According to Spasovski, aggravated burglaries in 2023 decreased by 38 percent compared to the same period last year.
Also, there were fewer traffic accidents. In the first five months of 2023, the Ohrid police held 52 traffic accident prevention events, he said.
In neighboring Struga, as well, the total number of recorded crimes dropped in the first five months of 2023, by 22 percent compared to the same months of 2022. mr/
