Skopje, 21 September 2021 (MIA) – Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani held Tuesday a farewell meeting with Spanish Ambassador Emilio Lorenzo to hand him over a plaque of gratitude for his tireless engagement in enhancing the two countries’ relation and for Spain’s support of North Macedonia’s EU integration process. “We share excellent and friendly relations with the Kingdom of Spain and in our collective memory will always be embedded the extraordinary efforts of the Spanish Senate to hold a video-session in order to ratify the protocol for North Macedonia’s NATO membership in March 2020,” said Osmani, the Foreign Ministry stated in a press release. Osmani and the outgoing ambassador also shared views on good neighborly relations in the region, political developments in the country and other international geopolitical issues, said the press release.
