Sofia prepared to hold out its hand for constructive dialogue with Skopje: Bulgarian official
Sofia, 5 January 2022 (MIA) – Bulgaria is prepared to hold out its hand to open a constructive dialogue with the Republic of North Macedonia, Lena Borislavova, head of the Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov's political cabinet, has said.
Speaking after a government session, Borislavova said Bulgaria will keep on defending its position and the existing framework will be upgraded with the formation of five working groups, tasked with discussing concrete issues, MIA’s Sofia correspondent reports.
She stressed that preparations and organization of the process is the reason why PM Petkov’s foreign policy advisor, Vesela Cherneva, visited Skopje on January 2.
