Ohrid, 17 October 2023 (MIA) – Passenger numbers at North Macedonia’s international airports in Skopje and Ohrid rose to 2.36 million in the January-September period, up 30.2% compared with the same period in 2022, Aeroports de Paris (ADP) said in a press release on Tuesday. 

In September alone, passenger numbers at Skopje and Ohrid airports reached 308,555, up by 17.9% compared to September 2022, reads the press release.

Aircraft movements at the two airports reached 17,683 in January-September 2023, up 19.3% compared to the first nine months of 2022.

In September alone, there were 2,339 aircraft operations at the two airports, 16.1% more than in September 2022.

ADP owns 46% of Turkey’s TAV Airports, the company operating the airports in Skopje and Ohrid.
