Skopje and Sofia seeking joint solutions to tackle energy crisis consequences 
Sofia, 5 September 2022 (MIA) - Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski on Monday in Sofia held a working meeting with Galab Donev, the caretaker Prime Minister of Bulgaria, before economic and energy teams from the two countries held working meetings. The official delegation took part in the working meetings, including Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi, ESM electricity producing company director Vasko Kovachevski, Branko Azeski, President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, and the energy adviser, Viktor Andonov. The Bulgarian delegation attending the meetings included Foreign Minister Nikolay Milkov, Energy Minister Rosen Hristov, Bulgarian Ambassador to North Macedonia Angel Angelov, chief of the PM's political office Nina Koleva, the President's foreign policy advisor Andrey Tehov, the head of the energy minister's political office, Ljubomira Gancheva, advisor to the energy minister, Slavina Ivanova, and Vladimir Malinov, Bulgartransgaz CEO Vladimir Malinov. Talks also focused on the situation in the energy sector and the global crisis caused by the military aggression against Ukraine. The two premiers concluded that the settling of the energy crisis and the lack of energy should be the priority. Earlier at a news conference in Skopje, PM Kovachevski said that talks in Sofia will tackle supply of electricity through Bulgaria, as an exporter of electricity.
