Astana, 29 May 2025 (MIA) — President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova after her meeting with Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana wrote on social media that Macedonian wines and pharmaceuticals should enter the Kazakhstani market and also invited Kazakhstani businesspeople to invest in the "small country with a strategic location and a favorable investment climate."
During the meeting, the two presidents agreed to boost bilateral cooperation.

In a Facebook post, Siljanovska-Davkova said they had discussed economic, energy, construction and trade cooperation as well as cooperation in the areas of culture, tourism and science. They also talked about recent geopolitical developments.
Pointing out that Kazakhstan's greatest trade partner and investor was the European Union, she wrote: "We are a small country with a strategic location and a favorable investment climate for Kazakhstani companies."
She also suggested that visa liberalization should be considered as a way to boost tourism.
