New York, 26 September 2025 (MIA) - As part of her working visit to the United States, President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova held a meeting with Brendan Hanrahan, the head of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, exchanging views on several relevant issues of mutual interest.

“At the meeting with Hanrahan, alongside Miniter of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski and the Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani, we welcomed the positive trend in the development of bilateral relations and discussed areas where further progress can be made,” Siljanovska-Davkova said.
The talks focused on the potential enhancement of the Macedonian strategic partnership with the United States.

“It is encouraging to have Washington’s support on several strategic issues, such as the opening of energy corridors of interest for both countries and the strengthening of commercial diplomacy. We reaffirmed the exceptionally successful cooperation that stems from our membership in NATO,” Siljanovska-Davkova added.
