Skopje, 4 July 2023 (MIA) - A new National Programme on Decent Work for the period 2023-2025 will be signed in Skopje on Tuesday by representatives of institutions and organizations of workers and employers.

Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jovanka Trenchevska, International Labour Organisation (ILO) Director for Central and Eastern Europe, Markus Pilgrim, Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (SSM), Organization of Employers of Macedonia, Confederation of Free Trade Unions (KSS), Confederation of Union Organizations of Macedonia (KSOM), Business Confederation of Macedonia, and Union of Independent and Autonomous Trade Unions of Macedonia (UNASM) are set to sign the document.

UN Resident Coordinator Rossana Dudziak will deliver an address at the event, followed by representatives of the signatory parties.

The objective of the National Programme on Decent Work is job creation, enlargement of social protection, guaranteeing the right to work and promotion of social dialogue.
