Skopje, 2 December 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Kaja Shukova, will participate from December 2 to 9 the 28th session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Shukova, as reported by her office, is slated to actively participate and deliver speeches at various events during the summit. This includes a final address following the signing of the energy transition investment platform agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, a roundtable discussion with Energy Community ministers, and a series of bilateral meetings, including one with the Executive Director of UNOPS.

The Summit is expected to assess the accomplishments of the set national and global objectives and lay out the path for upcoming activities.
