Several Criminal Court hearings called off due to OSCE summit

Skopje, 28 November 2023 (MIA) – Several hearings that were scheduled to take place at the Skopje-based Criminal Court, including on the cases 'Laskarci', 'Zhan Mitrev' and 'Titanic', have been postponed due to the upcoming OSCE Ministerial Council. 

 

A previously scheduled date for the main hearing on the bus crash accident near the village of Laskarci was canceled due to the Government's decision for November 30 to be non-working day. The trial will resume on December 14 at 9:30 am.

 

The main hearing on the case related to the private hospital "Zhan Mitrev", scheduled for Wednesday (November 29), was also cancelled due to the Government's decision for the administration to work until 12 pm. The hearing has been rescheduled for December 15 at 12 pm.

 

The hearing on the 'Titanic' case, related to election irregularities, which was scheduled for November 30, was also cancelled and will resume on December 12 at 10 am.

 

According to the Skopje-based Criminal Court, additional information on rescheduled hearings will be made available for all other trials that were scheduled in court for November 29 after 12 pm and for November 30, which are postponed due to the decision of the Government of North Macedonia.
