Serbia’s largest capital project is Corridor 10 rail to N. Macedonia, says Brnabic
Belgrade, 24 July 2021 (MIA) – The rail constructed as part of Corridor 10 with EU partners will be Serbia’s largest capital project, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated Saturday, MIA's Belgrade correspondent reports.
“At the same time, it will be the largest infrastructure project of the EU in this part of Europe. We will provide through the EU Western Balkans Investment Fund EUR 600-700 million in irreversible funds for the section from Belgrade to Nish only,” she said speaking to reporters during a visit to south Serbia.
At the moment, Brnabic said, it is evaluated how much will cost the railway on Corridor 10 from Nish and Brestovac to Preshevo and North Macedonia and it will be the largest infrastructure project in the coming period.
