September industry turnover up 15.4 percent: statistics
Skopje, 11 November 2022 (MIA) - Industry turnover in September increased by 15.4 percent compared to the same month in 2021, the State Statistical Office said on Friday. Total turnover by Main Industrial Groupings was higher in Capital goods by 39.9% and Non-durable consumer goods by 11.6%, but lower in Intermediate goods, except energy by 4.2% and Durable consumer goods by 5.0%. September industry turnover increased by 12 percent compared to August, while in period January-September it rose by 16.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021. Industry turnover on the domestic market was up by 10 percent compared to the same month in 2021. By Main Industrial Groupings, it was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 7.3%, Durable consumer goods by 1.5% and Nondurable consumer goods by 16.3%, but lower in Capital goods by 15.0%. September industry turnover on the domestic market increased by 4.1 percent compared to August, while in period January-September it was up by 12.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021 Industry turnover industry on the non-domestic market rose by 16.7 percent compared to September 2021. By Main Industrial Groupings, it was higher in Capital goods by 40.9% and Non-durable consumer goods by 7.1%, but lower in Intermediate goods, except energy by 9.8% and Durable consumer goods by 12.2%. September industry turnover on the non-domestic market increased by 13.7 percent compared to August, while in period January-September it was up by 17.2 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
