Skopje, 17 October 2021 (MIA) – Coalition Alliance for Albanians/Alternativa has declared first round wins at the local elections in Debar and Gostivar, with five other mayors advancing to the runoff. Alliance for Albanians Mayor Zijadin Sela told a press conference they are still waiting for information if their candidate would go to the runoff in Tetovo. According to him, the coalition’s candidates in Vrapchishte, Bogovinje, Tearce and Chair have advanced to the runoff. Sela said Election Day saw “blackmail, pressure and bribes”.
