Skopje, 11 April 2025 (MIA) - The Ministry of Finance transferred Friday the second tranche of the Hungarian loan funds to the Development Bank in the amount of EUR 74 million as support for domestic companies.

The transfer was realized at the request of the Development Bank for withdrawal of the funds, upon approval of the projects by commercial banks.

EUR 250 million are projected for domestic companies in 2025, aimed to support investments in the private sector and stimulate economic activity. A total of EUR 84.4 million have been used and transferred to the Development Bank so far.

“Companies are interested in these favorable funds in support of their projects. There are still funds of over EUR 150 million available,” Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska said in a written statement.

The Minister stressed this is a significant measure supporting businesses amidst heightened global risks.
