SEC: Voter turnout 9.38% until 11:15 am

Skopje, 19 October 2025 (MIA) - Voter turnout in Sunday’s local elections stands at 9.38% until 11:15 am, said the State Election Commission (SEC).
"Out of a total of 1,645,583 registered voters across 3,139 polling stations, 154,275 citizens, or 9.38% have already voted until 11:15 am," SEC spokesperson Radica Todorovska Aleksovska said at a press conference.
So far, she added, the SEC has not received any reports on the voting process from any polling station or from any municipal election commission.
The Commission’s current data shows the highest turnout by 11:15 am pm was reported in Berovo (13.51%), Bogdanci (14.55%), Butel (10%), Vevchani (16.02%), Vinica (10.76%), Gevgelija (12.81%), Gradsko (15.27%), Debrca (15.76%), Demir Kapija (15%), Kratovo (16.16%), Kriva Palanka (16.85), Krushevo (16.97%), Novaci (19.3%), Probishtip (17.64%), Rankovci (15.5%), and Chashka (22.60%).
The lowest turnout was reported in Sopishte (3.93%), Centar Zhupa (4.89%), Bogovinje (4.48%), and Vrapchishte (2.54%).
Sunday’s local elections are monitored by 1.484 observers, including 800 domestic observers and 645 foreign observers, as well as 14 foreign journalists.
