SEC: Voter turnout 35.89% by 3 pm

Skopje, 24 April 2024 (MIA) - Voter turnout in the first round of the presidential elections is 35.89% by 3 pm, according to data sent from 2,110 polling stations, said the State Election Commission (SEC).
"The process of voting so far is peaceful in all polling stations," the SEC added.
Out of a total of 1,092,341 voters at these polling stations, 392,066 have voted.
Data sent so far to the Commission show that highest turnout by 3 pm was reported in the municipality of Novaci (57.69%) and the lowest in Centar Zhupa (13.11%).
So far, the SEC has received 233 complaints about people's voting rights. Of these, 38 complaints have been approved and voters were enabled to exercise their right to vote, 21 complaints have been found inadmissible, and 22 complaints have been rejected. The remaining complaints are being processed.
