Skopje, 19 October 2025 (МИА) - The State Election Commission (SEC) said that voter turnout in the local elections stood at 31.16% by 3 pm. The turnout in the City of Skopje is the same, also at 31.16%.

SEC spokesperson Radica Todorovska Aleksovska said data had been received from 3,167 polling stations by 3 pm.

She noted that the data received thus far cover 91.16 percent of polling stations, with 515,069 citizens having voted out of a total of 1,653,213 registered voters.

The highest voter turnout has been recorder in the municipalities of Berovo (40.14%), Bogdanci (39.57%), Valandovo (35.88%), Gevgelija (35.78%), Gradsko (37.12%), Debrca (43.43%), Demir Kapija (46.65%), Dojran (48.88%), Zelenikovo (41.34%), Kratovo (42.35%), Krushevo (47.47%), Lozovo (47.32%), Makedonski Brod (48.21%), Novaci (52.84%), Probishtip (45.12%), Rosoman (46.46%), Staro Nagorichane (43.48%), and Chashka (53.19%).

The lowest turnout was registered in Centar Zhupa (17.12%), Radovish (24.24%), Mavrovo and Rostushe (20.14%), Gostivar (20.95%), and Vrapchishte (14.94%).

Voter turnout in the City of Skopje is 31.16%. By municipality, turnout was as follows: Aerodrom 31.50%, Butel 33.10%, Gazi Baba 27.82%, Gjorche Petrov 30.11%, Karposh 33.37%, Kisela Voda 31.58%, Saraj 36.33%, Centar 34.40%, Chair 35.30%, and Shuto Orizari 21.99%.

So far, the SEC has received no reports of irregularities, and voting is proceeding smoothly.
