Skopje, 2 November 2025 (MIA) – The State Election Commission said all polling stations closed at 7 PM in the runoff of the country’s eighth local elections. Voting proceeded smoothly and without issues, with all citizens able to realize their right to vote.

At a press conference, SEC head Boris Kondarko said out of 97.60% processed polling stations, nationwide turnout by 6:30 PM was 45.71%, with 325.691 citizens voting out of a total 1.013.357 registered voters. In Skopje, turnout by 6:30 PM was 33.82%.

“Final turnout figures will be known after 11 PM, when the SEC holds its final press conference [of the day] to present the full initial unofficial results it has received from each polling station,” Kondarko said.
