Skopje, 3 November 2021 (MIA) – The State Election Commission (SEC) released Wednesday the final results of the local election runoff. VMRO-DPMNE won mayoral seats in 17 municipalities, SDSM in five, DUI in seven, Alliance of Albanians in two, GROM in one, BESA in one, as well as independent candidates in one municipality and the City of Skopje. SEC President Aleksandar Dashtevski said complaints have been filed in nine municipalities. The Commission has also confirmed the results of the first round revote in Debar, with the candidates of DUI and the Alliance of Albanians/Alternativa advancing to the runoff.
