Skopje, 28 September 2022 (MIA) – The ruling party SDSM denied Wednesday any discussions of a government reshuffle, stating that the only change in Government will be the new Minister of Local Self-Government. “SDSM denies the claims made by certain media regarding an alleged government reshuffle. There have been no discussions of a reshuffle at all, neither by the party leadership, nor the highest party bodies. The only change made in the Government will be the new Local Self-Government minister who is set to replace Goran Milevski following his resignation from the post,” said SDSM in a press release. According to the party, the allegations of a possible change in ministers from SDSM’s ranks are intentional attempts by VMRO-DPMNE to distract the public from its internal issues, as well as the mega scandal with the 136-million-euro tender in the City of Skopje. “The SDSM-led Government remains focused on managing the economic and energy crisis, as well as creating a new set of measures aimed at aiding the citizens and business,” read the press release. ad/ba/
