Skopje, 29 September 2025 (MIA) - SDSM leader Venko Filipche said Monday incumbent Krushevo Mayor Tome Hristovski has turned the town into a real model of local development and a functional municipality over the past two terms.

"Hristovski has made what seemed impossible - to put Krushevo on the global sports and tourism map. He showed what a mayor for the citizens really means, and that is why he will win a third term," Filipche told a rally in Krushevo.

Filipche said the present Krushevo is a recognizable brand of development, clear environment, culture and tourism, with close to 70 projects realized by the local authorities over the past eight years.

"These projects include water supply systems, infrastructure, rehabilitation of schools and kindergartens, subsidies for high school pupils, tourism development, environment and utilities, construction and rehabilitation of roads and streets, refurbishing of sports halls and building of playgrounds, all aimed at improving the quality of life in Krushevo," said the SDSM leader.
