Skopje, 6 November 2024 (MIA) - SDSM leader Venko Filipche has congratulated Donald Trump on his win in the United States presidential elections.

"I am certain the strategic partnership between the United States and North Macedonia will continue to deepen under Trump's leadership," says Filipche in the note.

He says that both countries foster long-standing ties of friendship and cooperation, adding his conviction they will develop even further, leading to mutual progress and well-being.

DUI leader Ali Ahmeti also extended his congratulations, saying the American people have voted for an impressive return of President Trump in the White House.

He shares the belief that the U.S. focus on the Balkans will continue to be strong and solve open issues among countries in Southeast Europe for good.
