Schools set to reopen on Monday as winter break ends
Skopje, 19 January 2025 (MIA) – Pupils in elementary and secondary schools will return to classes on Monday in the second semester of the 2024/2025 school year as the winter break ends.
The 2024/2025 school year ends on June 10. Final year students in secondary schools will end the school year on May 16, as defined in the instruction calendar. Unlike last year, there will be no spring break.
The Ministry of Education and Science decided to cancel the spring break after conducting a survey that involved teachers, parents and students. A majority of them said a spring break is not needed.
