Skopje, 11 November 2021 (MIA) – Following speculation on his alleged disappearance and kidnapping, Besa MP Kastriot Rexhepi has posted a video message on his Facebook account. “Let me thank you for the support. The country’s security and stability, peace and well-being of the people should be of paramount importance for all. Party president Bilal Kasami and others should not worry about me. I am in a safe place and on the right side – with Albanians, with all citizens in the country who want peace, freedom and democracy,” says Rexhepi. He adds that EU and NATO are his choice, not anti-Albanian company. “I am saying this with clear conscience and I will explain everything to the media once threats by certain individuals end. I have always promoted freedom of expression, freedom in making decisions, which is a trait of a democratic society. God bless Albanians, Macedonians and everyone living in the Republic of North Macedonia,” says Rexhepi in the video.
